Getting into Krakow – it’s easy!
Here are a few short tips on how to get to the city centre once you land (via plane) or enter (via train) to Krakow (if you are driving, we expect that you can use GPS or a good ol’ fashioned map!).
If you are landing at the Balice Krakow Airport, you have a few options:
If you are coming into the main train station, public transportation is your friend.
To use public transportation once you get into the city (and also already from the airport), your best bet will be to download the jakdojade.pl app or use it in your browser. It will give you the most up to date connections and directions for where you want to go in the city, and you can buy electronic tickets through the app. Public transportation in Krakow is reliable, on time, and extremely convenient! Otherwise, walking also works wonders, especially if your student accommodation is right across the street from the main university venue, or your hotel is a 10 min walk through the park!
